we spent the whole afternoon by playing pool and playing ps2.

its almost the same as saturday,
played from lunch till dinner.

went back to do project,
due on tuesday!

its mooncake festival today.
the actual day, where the moon shines brightly in the sky.

some of us went to chunxilu,
some of us stayed in campus.

i was supposed to join the group in the afternoon,
but hence the rain, and them not wanting to go,
we decided to cancel the trip.

we stayed in school,
played pool, ps2 and just spend our time playing.
bonding.

had dinner and then mooncaked at rooftop!
weather was so cold today.
coldest ever in this 4weeks.

moon was exceptionally bright too.
wonderful night

had a mini walk around the school,
after finding out that the classrooms were closed.
and we had to go to a wierd location for our FCS.

guess where we had it?
it was at the restaurant!
well thankfully we are long time guest.
so the boss were willing to let us use the place.

went back in the afternoon for a nap.
got up, and gone for dinner with gordon(local).

he brought us out of school to some LA MIAN place.
nice place, just that the meat they have,
is very very limited.

today is china’s birthday.
and childrens day in singapore.

so we gave banzhang an early birthday celebration in the morning,
and yongxiang a birthday celebration in the night.

so we collected the cake in the afternoon for banzhang.
we played around, well not all of us.
had fun, some went out to xipu, some didnt.

and yongxiang’s celebration in the night.
well, we had to drag him up to the rooftop.
dont know how the rest did it, but its amazing.

we had a little bit destroyed cake as marvin accidentally hit it on something i guess.

we sang song, we cut cake, and we took photos!
went back at bunk around 1-2 to sleep.
as there was FCS the next day!

and so we had our FCS lab today.
too bad our matlab cert has ended just today.
hence we cant have lab today.

well, its China’s national day.
their 60th Birthday.
so i guess its kind of a big scale event,
a milestone one.

and the night has been full of fireworks.
for the past 1 hour, it had been firing at will.
didnt get to see it big scale as it was rather far.

tomorrow is a holiday,
and there is 24hour electricity!

woke up at our own timing today.

we were supposed to have outward bound activities today,
but somehow, it didnt happen.
i guess it was canceled.

so we decided among ourselves that we wanted to xipu.
without any locals joining us.
so in a way, it was our first trip alone.

we had initial problems telling the cab drivers where we wanted to go,
but after calling banzhang, we knew what to tell the drivers.

we arrived, walk and walked.
then got back to the school.
had dinner, passed cash to banzhang.

today was a day where we woke up to prepare for the moon cake festival celebrations with the locals.

we were deciding on what to do, what songs to sing,
what games to play and so on.

we met the chinese locals at 7.30pm at a classroom.

we were divided into 2 groups, randomly.
we each was assigned a number.

all of us sang songs, played games.
with real exciting forfeits.
which includes eaching sichuan pepper,
doing stupid things to make a fool out of yourself.
for the fun of it.
it was a night where we had fun, and a time of bonding together.

we really enjoyed ourselves.

woke up at 8.30am due to some disturbance on the door.
a mechanic came in, knocked our lock,
creating alot of noice.

got back to sleep till 12pm.

today was more of a relax day,
where we didnt go out.

woke up at 7.30am,
to get ready for our trip to Panda Land
aka Xiong Mao Zi Di.

we met the rest and boarded the bus at 8.30am.
we arrived there at about 9.30am.
we showed our panda card, and went into the research center.
which looks like a zoo.

the weather today was very cool.
quite cold, but that was good.
we walked, looked at the cute little pandas.
its like a zoo, where it isnt glass enclosures,
but a mimic-ed wildlife area.
saw some giant, and small pandas.
including red pandas.
they are really cute and BIG!

went for lunch,
it was like a 18 course lunch.
with 18 dishes, and not all is nice!

after that went to JINSHA MUSEUM,
to look at the artifacts, and learn abt chengdu history.
interesting, when you start understanding what you are there for.
at first, we had no clue what we were doing.

got back,
dinnered.

woke up at our own timing today.

boarded the bus to NCS office at 1.40pm

well, we visited their office,
talked to the singaporean director.
quite a good experience for us,
learnt new things.

its panda land tomorrow!
